Type and Styles
Envelopes are commonly found with different styles and closure methods.
Wallet envelopes (also know as banker) have a triangular style of sealing flap rather than the traditional straight flap. The sealing flap is also found on the long side of the envelopes.
Gusset envelopes are expandable for sending bulky documents such as magazines.
Pocket envelopes have a straight seal which is found on the shorter side of the envelope.
Board Back Envelopes offer an extra bit of protection and can be used to send certificates or photos and help prevent your item being bent in the post.
Padded Bags offer overall protection for fragile items such as
cds. Our Mail Lite range of envelopes are the most suitable for this
type of mailing.
Tyvek Envelopes are almost impossible to tear, burst or puncture, they are super lightweight and can help reduce mailing costs for more important documentation.
Seals
Gummed Flaps require moisture to be applied before sealing.
Self Seal envelopes do not require any additional moisture and will form a seal when the two flaps are pressed together
Peel & Seal have the strongest seal and the longest shelf life - peel away the protective tape to reveal a layer of
adhesive.
